About Universal
Tipping
Universal Tipping started in 1968 and incorporated in 1972 in
the town of Hingham. Our first services to the printing industry
began with a machine that tipped various flat items on to cut
sheets, cards and signatures. We acquired two more machines to
increase production capability. At this time we outgrew our facility and moved to our Rockland Mass. location.
By 1974 we needed more space for equipment, storage, and docking capacity. Universal Tipping then purchased our present
factory in Hanover Mass. on the banks of the North River.
By 1980 we added our continous forms line of tipping. Since
that time we have retired our older equipment, installed new
equipment, and added machines to increase the scope of the
services we offer to the printing industry.
